1 Minerva Hassletine Griffin born March 29, 1856; died January 28, 1945; married in Pontotoc Co, MS on September 9, 1874 to Nathaniel Ellis Pickering (See Pickering ). Minerva was possibly an only child or an orphan. She was listed as four years old in the 1860 Pontotoc Co Census with the family of Thomas W. Ward
